The coach

I wanted to help people be the change they wanted to see in their own body.

Before there was a business, before there was a name on anything, I kept looking up from my own set because somebody two racks over needed one piece of information nobody had given them.

That is genuinely how I found out this was the job. I'd get excited to give information or help to fellow gym goers or friends. Not politely — excited. Most people in a gym are protecting their hour. I could not let a bad setup go, and after enough of those moments the conclusion was obvious.

The pattern I kept seeing was never laziness. It was people working extremely hard on the wrong thing with nobody to tell them, then quietly deciding the problem was them. Forty-five minutes of cardio and nothing else. Eating almost nothing until 6pm. Strong enough to move real weight but never taught how to fail safely, so they never went near their actual capacity. None of that is a willpower problem. It is an information and structure problem, and that distinction is the foundation of everything I do.

So the method got built around it. I coach in a mix of styles — HIIT, cardio, compound lifts, eccentric holds, and old school structured spotting to maximize muscle hypertrophy. And it doesn't just stop at the session end: I'm available 24/7 for insights, help or coaching, because the decision that determines whether the weight stays off is almost never made in the gym.

Thinking about it like an owner

A lot of the people I work with are running something — a business, a demanding career, a household that would collapse without them. So I talk about the body the way they already think about everything else. It is the asset every other result depends on. You would not run a company on no maintenance budget and expect the numbers to hold. Steady inputs compound; erratic inputs don't. The clients who get the most out of me are not the ones who train hardest in week one — they are the ones who keep the inputs steady while the rest of their life is loud.

Who I work with

Total beginners, executives and professionals, and people rebuilding after a big life change. All my clients are my favorite because I pick clients with a drive for success and to better themselves. That is the only filter that has ever mattered.
